Add User

The Add User section configures new users with access to the blog. Users that are registered with another blog may be added by entering their User Name only. Users that are not registered with any blogs must be entered as New Users, and will have to enter a full set of parameters.

To add an existing user to the blog:

1.	Click the Settings & Security tab.

2.	Click Content Access Controls in the Options list.

3.	Click Add User. The Add Blog User page opens:

4.	Select an option from the Permission type drop-down list.

5.	Ensure the Existing user radio button is selected.

6.	In the Username text box, enter the User Name of the existing user.

7.	Click the Add User button at the bottom of the page.

To add a new user to the blog:

1.	Click the Settings & Security tab.

2.	Click Content Access Controls in the Options list.

3.	Click Add User.

4.	Select an option from the Permission type drop-down list.

5.	Ensure the New user radio button is selected.

6.	Enter the required information in the following text boxes:

- Username (must not contain special characters or blank spaces)

- Password

- Confirm Password

- Display Name

- First Name

- Last Name

- URL (ex. HTTP://example.com)

- Email

7.	Select the appropriate Timezone from the drop-down list.

8.	Click the Add User button at the bottom of the page.
